It seems like crime against humanity to critique Science today. Since science and empiricism comes with this “unquestionable' culture authority. It makes the soul empty, Humanity(for all its glory) seems to have forgetten the cross-polinatory alchemical roots of science that came before Newton.
Think about it, contemporary scientific-rational voice has this messianic ideal to it, the pride from which they speak with “We” makes the evil so visible.
These false-prophets act like some kind of guardians of scientific faith, making them pretend like prosthetic gods with its obession with longevity and bio-hacking, when all they do is project their ideals to a world which is begging for a cultural revolution.
Who reads the twelve keys of basil valentine anymore? the scientific naturalism has made symbolic literature and experiential learning almost inaccessible.
The rational lethargy with which they speak with their sterilized pedagogical frameworks…yuckkk. Therapy would be our biggest culprit here, we had 300 years of therapy and the world has only gotten worse.
It is one things to see the problem of this scientific apathy, but another to strike a solution.
The larger cultural shift should strike from within, take the pride in being controversial if you are standing upon the higher truth, build that larger cultural project and community that you have always dreamed about.
There is no prize in being well-adjusted to a society that is fundamentally shaky from within.
